The Armchair No. 9 combines a compact Scandinavian silhouette with the warmth and strength of solid beech. Its softly upholstered seat and backrest are available in the complete GAVA colour palette, while the visible wooden frame can be finished in Natural Beech or Medium Walnut.

The armchair has a balanced, lightweight silhouette designed for living rooms, reading corners, bedrooms, guest spaces and calm commercial interiors.
Its upholstered seat and backrest provide comfortable everyday support without making the chair visually heavy. The armrests and open wooden frame emphasise the natural material and handcrafted construction.
Solid Beech Construction
Handcrafted Hardwood Frame
The visible frame is handcrafted from solid beech, a strong European hardwood valued for its stability, fine grain and suitability for furniture construction.
Natural variations in colour, grain pattern and small mineral markings are characteristics of real timber. Every frame may therefore differ subtly from the photographs and samples.
As the armchair is handmade, minor variations in dimensions, upholstery tension, stitching and wood finish may occur.

GAVA Upholstery
Durable Recycled Upholstery
GAVA is a soft woven upholstery fabric made from 100% recycled polyester. It has a weight of approximately 450 g/m² and exceeds 100,000 Martindale abrasion cycles.
The fabric has a pilling-resistance rating of 4 and is REACH compliant. It also meets EN 1021-1 and EN 1021-2 flame-resistance standards.
The complete palette includes 16 colours: GA-03, GA-05, GA-11, GA-35, GA-36, GA-45, GA-53, GA-56, GA-58, GA-75, GA-76, GA-77, GA-81, GA-91, GA-95 and GA-98.

Wood Finishes
Natural Beech or Medium Walnut
Beech preserves the light, natural appearance of solid beech and works well in Scandinavian, minimalist and softly contemporary interiors.
Medium Walnut adds a warmer, deeper brown tone while allowing the natural structure of the beech timber to remain visible.
Wood stain appearance varies depending on the natural grain, porosity and colour of each wooden component. Screen settings and lighting may also affect colour perception.

Choose one of 16 GAVA upholstery colours and combine it with Natural Beech or Medium Walnut. This creates 32 available made-to-order combinations.
We recommend checking physical fabric and wood samples before confirming the final configuration, particularly when matching the chair with existing furniture.
Care & Safety
Everyday Care
Remove upholstery dust regularly with a soft attachment. If a spill occurs, blot it promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub, soak the fabric or use bleach, solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.
Wipe the wooden frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately. Avoid abrasive pads and strong household chemicals.
Keep the armchair away from open flames, strong heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight. Do not stand on the chair, sit on the armrests or exceed reasonable domestic seating loads.
Made to Order & Delivery
Made to Order in Europe
Each armchair is prepared to order in the selected GAVA upholstery colour and wood finish. Standard production time is approximately 2–4 weeks, followed by delivery time to the destination.
The armchair is dispatched from Poland within the European Union. Deliveries within the EU do not require customs clearance. Orders outside the EU may be subject to local import duties, taxes or customs handling charges.
