A Contrast That Works
Everything in this bed turns on balance. The headboard, built from six plump panels, draws the eye and invites you to lean back. The frame is its quiet counterpart: smooth, without stitching, with gently rounded corners. The pairing suits interiors where comfort matters but the room should not feel crowded, and it sits comfortably in warm minimalism, Scandinavian rooms and mid-century bedrooms.
Lightness on Wooden Feet
The frame does not rest flat on the floor; it stands on low wooden feet. It is a small detail that changes a great deal. A shadow appears beneath the bed and lifts it optically, so the piece looks lighter than its dimensions suggest. The warm tone of the wood works with the natural colours of the fabric and with linen bedding.

The Bed No. 9 is upholstered in Catch Me, a dense chenille with a pronounced curly, three-dimensional texture close to bouclé. On the long smooth surfaces of the frame that structure is particularly easy to read. The fabric weighs 550 g/m², withstands over 100,000 Martindale cycles and carries the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate, so it copes well with everyday use.

Storage Space
Space Hidden Under the Mattress
Beneath the slatted base there is room for duvets, spare pillows and seasonal blankets. The floor of the box is made of HDF board. Gas lifts take the weight, so the base rises smoothly with the mattress in place and stays up without effort.

Built to Last
Under the soft upholstery there is a frame of wood and furniture board, a metal base and 48 sprung slats as standard. The slats work with the mattress and spread the load evenly, which means better sleep and a longer life for the mattress. The mattress sits about 5 cm into the frame, so it stays in place. Thick foam padding keeps the headboard in shape even with daily use, and the back of the headboard is finished in fibertex.

The frame is 20 cm wider than the mattress it holds and 222 cm long in every size. The quilted headboard stands 99 cm above the floor and the upholstered side rails are 37 cm high.

If your bedroom needs an unusual size, we will build the bed to measure. A made-to-measure version costs at least 20% more than the standard price.
The mattress is not included. Sizes in the first column refer to the mattress the bed is built for, not to the frame.

What You Receive
The bed arrives as an upholstered frame with the quilted headboard, solid beech feet, a metal base with 48 sprung slats and a gas-lift storage box with an HDF floor. The mattress is not part of the order and can be bought separately. Bedding, pillows and accessories shown in the photographs are not included.
Care
Looking After the Fabric
Vacuum regularly with a soft brush head. Remove stains gently; if necessary wash by hand at 30 °C. Do not iron, do not bleach and do not tumble dry.

Every bed is built after the order is placed, in the colour and size you choose. The usual lead time is two to four weeks; made-to-measure versions may take a little longer. We ship across Europe and confirm the delivery date by e-mail.
